Symphony of Light

I learned to play on a stand-up Yamaha piano just like this one. I fell in love with the diversity and profound beauty of this instrument, and what a wonder that I could make it sing. Little old me! Which is why this is also a self-portrait.

There’s no denying the volume of music that’s inspired by light like this, so it only made sense to paint the instrument cast in golden hour light, with the silhouettes of leaves blending the artistry of music and nature.
