Blue Honey

9″ x 6″ acrylic on paper. Hand-signed and dated.

When I was in 5th grade we had a “spirit day” at school where we were supposed to wear clashing colours. I was so convinced that blue and yellow were clashing colours. My mom tried to tell me otherwise but I said, “I’m the artist, I should know.” Imagine my embarrassment when I rolled up to school to find out that blue and yellow are in fact primary colours and work together quite nicely.
