The Blue Morpho butterfly is rich with symbolism in my life. I used to have a real one displayed in a little box that my grandfather had brought home from Costa Rica, long before I was born. Fast forward about 30 year to my own grand adventure spending there months in Costa Rica at a time of great growth and healing for me. Needless to say, the Blue Morpho kept coming back to visit me in one way or another, and still does to this day. I connect with with my ancestry, with my grandfather but also my dad who died when I was 19. This butterfly is one of those ways I still feel connected to my loved ones who have gone before me, and even supported and guided.
